Landform is the surrounded environment for an architecture. The location of the momunent define the meaning of monument itself. To emphasize the meaning of “freeflowing and aerodynamics“, the landform for the monument are chosen to be in the estuary of the valley. Making a natural connection with the water and the terrain, the monument is orientated to the ocean.
The aim of this blog is to share my design ideas or experience during the workshop. Welcome all the comments and opinions toward my working!

A very creative webpage in learning vedio producing.http://factoryfifteen.com/
This is a video of movement from the underground studio to the ground. Spaces are clearly seperated into two parts to satisfy Aiweiwei's wide range of artwork creation workplace. Also this is inspired by his design of the bike in my understanding of "layer by layer" to create the illusion of view. Meanwhile, I noticed that he use the lights to enhance this sense, which is the way i also apply into this underground design, trying to introduce the sunshine into these cells. The stairs are composited by the multilayer glasses and stainless supporting steel frames.
This is a video showing movement from outside of the gallery to inside the gallery and through the stairs to Stelarc's studio above the gallery.Entrance of the gallery are gradually-inning stairs and a huge glazed wall with the extroversive sidewalls. Entering the gallery, the upper sub-space increase the height of the first floor and also create another display zone for the artist. Large openings are designed to increase the interior brightness, while the front walls are seperated with the 50mm gaps. The middle hall are remained for Stelarc's body performance.
On the left of the gallery, there is a gate going outside of the building, which is the way to the upper levels. The Stairs are posited outside the building, however, with the extraversive 2nd floor, artists can safely bring their artwork to the gallery. The shape of the stairs is trying to follow the orientation of the building and create a dynamic way to access upper floor. Hole are interposed to the handdrall, decreasing the solid feeling of the concrete-made stairs. The sub-floor is also under abundant sunshine casting from the front windows.
Climbing up the stairs to Stelarc's studio at the top, the irregular shape of studio gives more fun to the space and open working environment provide a good atmosphere for artist.

My Creative Work
This was my work from Architectural Communication 1142 workshop three in last semester. We were asked to create a series of montage drawings to show the moving experiment by combining the modeling and sketching skills. This model I made was designed to be a seaside hotel with tower-like structure and transparent glazed outer walls on each floors, reducing the mass of architecture in sense.
Great Piece of Architecture
The Jubilee Church Rome, Italy Richard Meier
Breathing the holy and dignified religion wind of ancient Rome architectural culture, combining with the contemporary construction technology, The Jubilee Church is always giving out a sense of purity and inner peace. The abundant lights cast through the huge openings, producing a holy but touchable image of God. I think it is the peace it produces that attract me!
Villa Flush
This is my drawing copied from an archive of a residence design competition in China. I think the thing that attract me from this building is its understanding of the site and landscape. Growing from the landscape and returning back to the nature, this house seperates different living functions with the natural forms of flush smoothly and integrates the inside and outside.People living in the house can feel the conffusion and harmony of the link betwenn environment and interior sppace
A Photo of Something Beautiful
This is a conceptual image from FACTORY FITEEN.I think the reason i choose this image is that the fire around the building really inspired me of the reflection of the outeiror wall and the fluid air around the building. Also,
compared with the surrounding solid architectures, these two seem so light to flow in the sky.
